DESCRIPTION:
Fresh and sweet, Virginian Cedarwood is actually derived from a tree in the Cupressaceous family. The bark of the tree, grown in the USA and Canada, is steam distilled to release a fresh, woody essential oil. Cedarwood has been used for many years, with Native Americans stripping bark from the trunk to make many items, from household goods to totem poles, while modern-day manufacturers have used it to make bespoke furniture.
