It is a high quality mineral(s) supplement. The composition of potassium citrate ingredients is excellent. One deficiency symptom I have is dehydration which results in severe foot cramps. I love the easy to swallow, tasteless capsule size. The frequency is not a problem, the benefit is incredible. The package arrived on time.

started taking it for its two ingredients: potassium and citric acid. This is because the citric acid breaks down the calcium oxalate stones (my type of kidney stone) and then the potassium binds to the oxalates to make them water soluble (so I don’t have to urinate on calculations). Of all the minerals, our need for potassium is the greatest. Most people are deficient in it, and it’s best to get potassium directly from cruciferous vegetables (think leafy greens). Supplementing with that on the side can help, but at just 4% of your recommended daily amount, it’s not enough on its own. Nevertheless, it is good enough for my use.

The bottle could actually be a bit smaller and still hold all 180 capsules. The capsules are a good size and no problem to swallow.
