Ascorbyl Palmitate is soluble in both water and lipid, and this dual solubility allows it to be incorporated into cell membranes where it helps to protect them from oxidative damage. While it possesses all of the antioxidant properties of Vitamin C, it can also more easily penetrate the blood-brain barrier, facilitating the extension of its antioxidant protection to the brain and nervous system.

Other ingredients:
Cellulose (capsule), Rice Flour, Magnesium Stearate (vegetable source) and Silica. Not manufactured with wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, fish, shellfish or tree nut ingredients. Produced in a GMP facility that processes other ingredients containing these allergens.
Recommended use:
Take 1 capsule 1 to 2 times daily, preferably with food.

Good quality vitamin C product. you should be careful if you are taking medications containing amphetamines (like Adderall or vyvanse) as they reduce absorption due to acidity (so do not use vitamin c at least one hour before or after taking the vitamin vs). great antioxidant. bought because of coronavirus

This vitamin C is fantastic if you react to any other type. Histamine issues can be daunting, and if your gut is in bad shape, you’re going to react to all kinds of foods and supplements. This one was great for me. Unfortunately, you have to take a lot! I tried to buy it in bulk but making the capsules is a real hassle with this greasy powder. This one is much easier!
