About this product

Vitamin D3 5000IU is supplied in tablet form, with 60 tablets per pack. Each tablet provides 125 µg (5000 IU) of Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol), equivalent to 2500% NRV.

The ingredients are Di-Calcium Phosphate, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Vitamin D3 Prep. (Maltodextrin, Modified Starch, Sucrose, Cholecalciferol), Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose and Anticaking Agents (Silicon Dioxide, Vegetable Source Magnesium Stearate). The label states this product is hypoallergenic and contains no GM, dairy, lactose, gluten, wheat, yeast, nuts, salt, soya, starch or sugar, and does not contain any of the 14 major allergens listed in Annex II (1169/2011) of the EU Food Information for Consumers Regulation.

Directions

Take 1 tablet per day with food. Do not exceed the recommended intake.

Warnings

Vitamin D does have a potential for toxicity, though amounts up to 1000mcg are generally agreed to be safe in adults. Younger adults or children may supplement up to 400IU daily. Vitamin D is contraindicated while taking warfarin and verapamil medications. This high strength Vitamin D3 is intended for short-term use.
