Doctor’s Best Vitamin C with Quali-C promotes immune response, supports the cardiovascular system and is essential for joints and other connective tissues. Doctor’s Best uses Quali -C, a brand of ascorbic acid manufactured in Scotland that is prized for its quality and reliability. Ascorbic acid is invaluable to the body for its role as an electron donor, supporting numerous metabolic enzymes in addition to enhancing the body’s total antioxidant potential. It is essential for the synthesis of collagen, carnitine, and certain brain chemical transmitters. Clinical research confirms vitamin C’s fundamental support for the brain, eyes, heart and circulation, immune system, and all the body’s other organ systems.
How it works?
Vitamin C is a key compound in the body’s “antioxidant network,” a chain of synergistic, inextricability linked, well-studied antioxidants that includes glutathione (GSH) and vitamin E. When vitamin E neutralizes free radicals it needs to be renewed. Vitamin C can change this status, by regenerating vitamin E back to its native form, and is thought to “spare” glutathione in the body as well.

Very easy to use and tastes great, I stick with just one ingredient to combine with other powders, especially collagen. Very useful in case of colds to take in herbal tea often in small quantities, the 500mg spoon is top, with the obvious effect in a few hours. It’s a must-have at home.

Made in Scotland Quality. GMO FREE. Came with a small scoop for a handy dose. Good in juices or smoothies. Keeps me healthy during flu seasons and all the time. Sometimes I take 2 separate doses a day, especially when I work near many people daily or go to a busy public place. Gradually increase the dose if you are used to a smaller amount of Vite C per day.

80% of ascorbic acid is made in China. The Qual C of this product is Made in Scotland. In fact, I contacted the company who sent me an informative email and reassured me that it was the best possible price. Most European Qual C’s are very expensive but Dr’s Best is an excellent price for purity

believe Quality C is the best patented brand. I don’t like buying other brands as they come from Chinese sources which I don’t trust. This came from the USA years ago, but now comes from Ireland. FYI: Dr. Weil in Tuscon says our bodies can only use about 200mg at a time. So you don’t even have to use a full scoop (of the small scoop included). So it will take a very long time. When I get sick I can take a lot of it and not have any negative bolus issues. But if you’re not sick, don’t overdo it.

love this Vit C and have been using it for a while now. The serving size is so small that it easily dissolves in a glass of water and lasts a long time. The taste is not as strong as many C’s I have tried before. Good to have on hand for general immunity or when we know we have something to do. High quality.
