Doctor’s Best PepZin GI is a complex of zinc and L-Carnosine which is beneficial in supporting healthy gastric function. PepZin GI acts by supporting the integrity of stomach cells and promotes healthy mucus secretions from stomach cells while maintaining a healthy bacterial balance in the GI tract. Doctor’s Best PepZin GI helps relieve occasional gastric discomfort.
How does it work?
PepZin GI uses a special chelated form of the mineral zinc has a unique ability to exert its effects directly on the cells of the stomach lining. When zinc is complexed to L-Carnosine, it dissociates in the stomach at a slower rate. This prolonged existence allows it to maintain its gastric support effect over a longer period of time. PepZin GI may help maintain the bacterial balance of the stomach and GI tract. It has been fantastic for me. The pill size is very small and in a capsule which makes it easy to swallow without leaving any nasty taste. I was paying crazy money for a similar product, but it worked as well if not better than the brand my doctor prescribed. These seem to be high quality and reliable. I have severe gastrointestinal issues and this has helped stabilize my issues tremendously. I would recommend trying this brand if you find it hard to afford what your health care provider sells you.

Zinc supplements have the scientifically well-established ability to heal and maintain mucous membranes. Zinc carnosine is believed to be the molecule that best harnesses zinc for this purpose. This may be the case, but for the record, the difference with a zinc supplement with mixed forms was not earth-shattering. Still, if you have some sort of persistent gastrointestinal problem that doesn’t go away with simple diet and lifestyle changes, trying this supplement for a few weeks should be a no-brainer. It’s very safe, but as with any zinc supplement, long-term use can put you at increased risk of copper deficiency. This supplement does not contain added maltodextrin, which is good. The tablets are very small and easy to swallow.

did some research before purchasing this product and found that it was a central ingredient in a popular deflating product that I use and purchase frequently. I take these two very very small white capsules every morning on an empty stomach and have found that my digestive issues and bloating issues have improved dramatically.

Corks this small and a bottle supply is 2-4 months. If you have chronic digestive problems, inflammation, it is better to take a few bottles and be sure to take these capsules 1-2 times a day always before meals. It has been a life saver especially for acid reflux and it is also powerful for stomach bloating and ulcers. This stuff is powerful and it really works – a must try!

this product simply fixes your intestinal inflammation in a snap. listen i ate a lot of junk like fast food and i hope this will fix the problem. it made. but after a good 2 weeks it might not work unless you adjust your eating habits. I started cutting out fast foods and now I don’t have ulcers because the zinc carnosine is the one for ulcers!

have severe, chronic acid reflux and a very sensitive stomach. I took multiple max doses of antacid medication for 8 years, even had antacid reflux surgery. All of this helped me to some extent, but did not improve my stomach sensitivity. After reading all the great reviews on this site, I decided to give it a try. After taking just one capsule an hour before breakfast for about two weeks, I felt a significant improvement in my stomach sensitivity. haven’t had any bad stomach reactions taking this like other forms of zinc, even though it was food-free with a few other morning supplements. It is known to restore stomach lining and heal other parts of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract and I’m interested in getting rid of years of bloating, the notorious SIBO, yet to give up fiber and prebiotics in 3 years. So far so good, quick effect from day 1, and my gut feels relaxed after meals, I’ll see if it fixes for good this time. I’m glad I can also have the zinc needed for immunity and tolerate it better than what I used before, which was torture, it’s easy to swallow, no aftertaste. Good quality patented ingredient.

wanted to order zinc (it’s good for immunity, skin and hair growth) and since I have digestive issues and this product promises long lasting support for healthy gastric function (I was diagnosed reflux gastritis several months before and I took some medicine + diet to get better), I choose to order it. I take 2 capsules a day on an empty stomach, as it is written in the instructions. The capsule size is small which makes it easy to swallow. I did not notice any side effects when taking PepZinGI capsules. What I noticed was that I could eat without constantly worrying about having a stomach ache or feeling sick to my stomach.
