Puritan’s Pride Evening Primrose Oil provides 1300mg of pure evening primrose oil per softgel, cold-pressed from the seeds of Oenothera biennis. Each serving contains a naturally occurring composition of essential fatty acids, including approximately 936mg of Cis-Linoleic Acid (LA) and approximately 117mg of Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA), an omega-6 fatty acid that occurs naturally in breast milk and in a number of vegetable seed oils.

Evening primrose oil is one of the most well-documented botanical oils, valued for its rich GLA content. GLA is a polyunsaturated fatty acid that the body uses in various physiological processes.
