NOW Sun-E 400 is a soy-free, natural Vitamin E derived from Identity Preserved (IP), Non-GMO Sunflower Seed Oil. Vitamin E is a major antioxidant and the body’s primary defense against lipid peroxidation. It is particularly important for the protection against cellular free radical/oxidative damage. These protective benefits are achievable with supplemental intakes higher than what is normally consumed in the average diet.
Some scientific evidence suggests that consumption of antioxidant vitamins may reduce the risk of certain forms of cancer. However, the FDA has determined that this evidence is limited and not conclusive.

Sun-E is one of the best vitamin E products I have every used. I take 1600 IU (I used to have to take 2400 IU to get the same effect before I discovered Now’s product. It is probably one of the principal reasons I look 57 instead of 77. It should be used together with Beta Carotene, Maganese, Selenium, and Copper, for best effects.

Incredible quality vitamin E. Soy free, which is really important for people with autoimmune diseases like me. I take vitamin E with accordingomethionine from Thorne every morning on an empty stomach. There is research that taking them together for all 3 months can help lower antibody counts. Easy to use, sometimes I use it topically on the skin, just poke a small hole and press where it needs to be applied. It is useful to have pure vitamin E in capsules because it does not oxidize like in some cosmetic products where the question is whether this E is valid at all, because cosmetic oils harden over time. I can only recommend this product! I had chest pains quite regularly and after taking it for about a week and a half the chest pains went away. I started taking one capsule a day, then a few days later increased it to two. I read that you can go up to eight a day to get the results you need.
