St. John’s Wort Extract (Hypericum perforatum) (Herb) (min. 0.3% Hypericin)
Other ingredients:
Cellulose (capsule), Rice Flour, Silica and Magnesium Stearate (vegetable source).
Not manufactured with wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, fish, shellfish or tree nut ingredients. Produced in a GMP facility that processes other ingredients containing these allergens.
Recommended use:
Take 1 capsule 3 times daily, preferably with food.
Warnings:
For adults only. Do not exceed 3 capsules daily, unless directed by a health care professional. Larger amounts may contribute to photosensitizing reactions (skin reddening) in the presence of strong sunlight or tanning beds. St. John’s Wort is known to interact with antidepressants, oral contraceptives, immunosuppressants, anticoagulants, anti-seizure, chemotherapeutic agents, and other prescription and over-the-counter medications. Do not use this product while taking any medication or if you have a medical condition without the advice of your physician. Not for use by pregnant/nursing women. Keep out of reach of children.

I use this with 5 HTP 100mg when I feel a bit down. I take 1 or 2 capsules of HTP and 1 or 2 capsules of St. John’s wort, 300 mg (depending on the strength of the feeling of depression) and after 30 minutes it passes. It also helps me with intrusive and repetitive thoughts

Extremely powerful natural SSRI. Works like magic for depression and/or anxiety. the effect takes about 3-4 weeks to kick in, but it really helps! VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE: St. John’s Wort can interfere with the absorption of many other medications/supplements, so please consult your doctor before taking it. Also – Do not take in conjunction with other SSRIs or 5-HTP as you may suffer from Serotonin Syndrome. Overall – Amazing supplement, definitely on par with some prescription drugs.

it is a very good tool to fight against depression but you have to be careful with the level of anxiety with it!! exceeding the recommended daily dose is dangerous and could do more harm than good. Plus, it’s definitely not a long-term fix for depression. quality reclassification is excellent no doubt about it. the pill size is just perfect.

started a while ago on a whim and have since ordered NOW, the capsules are earthy in color and not too big, as far as I can tell there is no unpleasant taste . I find it helps me with my muscular rheumatism, it relaxes me and that’s what I need right now. But please talk to your doctor before considering this and monitor any symptoms/side effects closely. I read about this herb and started taking a tincture of St. John’s Wort 3 times a day about a year after giving birth to my son. It immediately lifted my postpartum depression, mood and thoughts.
