   have been told that sodium ascorbate is better than ascorbic acid. It is digested better and does not cause stomach irritation. I bought sodium ascorbate for my mother because she has a hernia in her stomach and esophagus and the acids are irritating her stomach. She tolerated it well. It didn’t cause heartburn. I buy it now for the whole family, including my 7 year old daughter.

   Excellent product and good price! Vitamin C is a water-soluble nutrient that has important functions in the body, such as normal immune and antioxidant system function, as well as helping with everything from iron absorption to normal collagen formation. for the normal functioning of bones, teeth, skin and gums

   My husband and I use it daily! We love that this is pure vitamin C powder, higher quality and ingredients than other brands. My husband has intestinal problems and it does not affect him negatively at all! It helped his weakened immune system, he often got sick before taking it. It lasts us that long even though we take the above recommended amount daily. Will buy again and again.

   I’ve heard it’s the best form of vitamin C there is. Product quality and potency are decent. It doesn’t taste very good, or anything at all, but that’s beside the point. Great antioxidant overall and helps with immunity. The pack size is excellent which makes this product very cost effective.

   first heard about sodium ascorbate while watching Dr. Andrew Saul in a vitamin master class. He spoke at length about vitamin C, the different forms, and the value of much higher doses than many people realize. As it is ph neutral and very concentrated (1/4 t. = 1000 mg Vit. C), very high doses can be taken in case of infection without stomach upset (which could be the case if you take ascorbic acid). It is barely noticeable in a cup of water and easy to consume frequently throughout the day when sick. “Take enough C to be symptom-free, regardless of the amount” (Dr. Saul). Small doses just don’t work and mega doses are easily accomplished with sodium ascorbate powder! Check out Dr. Saul’s website/books!

   I use it every morning in a glass of green tea for better immunity. No noticeable taste. It absorbs much better than capsules or pills. Use several times a day if you feel a cold coming on, but it hasn’t happened to me yet. Great way to wake up!

   This product is a supplement intended to improve health, immunity, quality of life, well-being and mood. I bought it out of curiosity after reading about it. It has fulfilled some essential needs that I had until now: a boost of energy and an elimination of fatigue due to long flights and stress. NOW FOODS has become our favorite family brand!     If you haven’t tried this sodium ascorbate, you don’t know what you’re missing! The health benefits are superior. Its high potency is what makes it so effective, but the taste isn’t too harsh. We all take this as family and were amazed at how well it works!
