Recommended use:
Take 1 capsule daily with a meal.

In addition to Now Foods offering the highest quality supplements, this particular form of vitamin K2, MK-7 (Menaquinone-7), is obtained from natural ingredients as opposed to synthetic MK-4, and is therefore more bioavailable and requires lower doses. The caplet size is quite small and manageable.

I’ve purchased this NOW brand of MK-7, Vitamin K2, Extra Strength for a few months now and I’m so glad I found it in the 300 mcg strength. It works great for my bone health and the dosage is perfect for what my health care provider wants for me. This bottle comes in the 60 capsule size which is a two month supply for me. Don’t forget to take vitamin K2 with your D3 to prevent calcification of blood vessels. I take high doses of vitamin D3 (my blood tests showed I’m severely deficient), so this 300mg vitamin K2 dosage is perfect for up to 15,000 IU vitamin D3.

Vitamin K2 directs calcium to where it is needed in the body and helps prevent unhealthy calcification in the body, as well as hypercalcemia. In addition to vitamin K2, I take high doses of D3 and no hypercalcemia shows up in blood tests. It is important to note that I do not take calcium supplements as these will cause hypercalcemia. I take it to get rid of bone spurs as recommended by a medical professional along with vitamin D. MK7 600-800 mcg daily with 10,000 Vit D3. This makes it easier to take high doses. Already feel a difference. But you decide whether you want to take such high doses yourself.

When it comes to vitamins for heart health, it seems like taking vitamin K2 comes up a lot. It’s probably not the most important, but it certainly can’t hurt. I was born with a heart murmur, but I’ve taken very good care of myself over the decades, so the ticker works fine. Is easy to take and had no side effects at all. If you have heart disease, take them and if you are overweight, lose weight and take vitamins.
