Inulin, a fructooligosaccharide (FOS), is a soluble prebiotic fiber that is resistant to digestion and reaches the large intestine essentially intact. Recommended use:
Take 1 level teaspoon 1 to 3 times daily. Mix into your favorite beverage or food. Begin with 1 teaspoon a day and slowly increase dosage to limit GI discomfort.

NOW Certified natural Inulin is a great “prebiotic”. I include a scoop in my breakfast smoothie each morning. It feeds our good intestinal bacteria. I also eat tons of fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), an indigestible (for us) form of sugar in the form of polysaccharide inulin, which also “feeds” my good “gut buddies”. FOS is found in vegetables such as radicchio, Belgian endive, Jerusalem artichokes (Junchus), okra, artichokes, onions and garlic. Very good value for money and perfect for supporting digestive health. Highly recommend.

I take it as a prebiotic. Use it in my coffee, tea and soup, it dilute well in hot drinks. It is decent and pure quality, no different fixings except inulin. Would buy again. It has a sweet taste and a slight sweet smell.

This is the third time I have purchased this product. The package is as expected. It is less expensive than many other similar bowel support products, but gives me unexpected quality!! The composition is simple, just insulin to nourish the cells lining the colon, which benefits my intestine a lot and prevents constipation.
