Condition: Normal, combination and oily skin types in need of deep cleansing and detoxification.
Solution: European clay powder is a natural mineral silicate that can be combined with water to create a natural, skin-toning clay mask. Ideal for most skin types, European clay powder helps draw out impurities and unwanted debris from the skin, making pores less noticeable and improving overall skin tone.
Ingredient: Montmorillonite (a natural mineral silicate).
For external use only. If redness or irritation occurs, discontinue use.
For oily skin, mix 1 tablespoon of NOW® European Clay with 1 tablespoon of cold water. For dry skin, add a few drops of NOW®Jojoba Oil and/or NOW® Lavender Essential Oil to the mix prior to applying. Thoroughly cover the face and neck, avoiding sensitive areas and the eyes, allow to set for 10-20 minutes, rinse off and apply moisturizer. Always do a test patch when using essential oils.

I bought this because I was looking for some type of clay to add to my face masks. So I chose this one because my family is Italian lol… I can make so many different versions of face masks with this. I love it! If I’m in a hurry, I’ll just pour some powder in my palms add a few drops of water and mix it on my face.Then wash it off in the shower. But I like to mix it with my Vit C powder, essential oils like tea tree or lemon, cacao powder, and my fave is to add Chlorella powder ( yes the stuff you drink) to it. I’ll mix up these ingredients maybe just Chlorella and European Clay powder one day and the others the next.
I can tell when its time to wash it off because it starts to get super tight and tingly. The only reason I knocked off a star is because it does make my skin red when I wash it off, and my skin is usually not that sensitive. So this is definitely on the powerful side. Which is good! I’d rather have something powerful and leave it on for less time then not.

I bought this product a few weeks ago, and I am really glad I did. This product makes your face feel so smooth and glowing after you use it. I have oily skin, so I put water in the product to apply it. First you have to wash your face thoroughly. Then you apply the mask to your face. If you have dry skin, you can add some oil to it. You leave it on your face until it starts getting dry. You don’t want it to get too dry, or it can be difficult to get off. Then you use a warm face cloth to remove the mask. It’s a little messy, but the results are worth it. After that, you tone and moisturizer. You can use this a couple of times a week, but I choose to use it once a week. I really love how this product makes my skin feel, and it is a very natural product.

I had never bought a mask in powder-form, so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. The reality is that it takes a small amount of powder each time, which makes this small box last a long time. Personally, I like to customize it with a few drops of almond oil, this way it doesn’t feel too dry on my skin, and occasionally add a few drops of lemon, which gives it a really refreshing feeling. After I wash it off, the skin looks clean and feels soft and smooth. Recently, I’ve also learned how versatile this mask is: I had an irritated patch on my forearm that I didn’t know how to fix, so I tried to apply the mask. The irritated feeling went away immediately, and the marks on my skin went away within days. This is so handy to have around. Highly recommended!

This green European clay is pure, natural, free of any additives or preservatives, and great for all skin types, especially oily, combination, and acne-prone skin. Here’s a tip: use less clay powder and don’t let the mask dry out completely! It would be easier to wash off when it’s not too dry up. If your skin gets red, don’t worry – the redness will be gone the next day, no harm done!

If you prefer a thick clay facial mask I don’t recommend this product. After two uses I threw Now European Clay Powder away. The paste I mixed clumped and caked, proving difficult to apply in a thick, even layer. Before it had dried after application, the mask had flaked and partially fallen off my face. I’ve used Frontier brand green clay over the last decade, it applies smoothly and is effective in drawing blockage from my pores. I will switch back. I hope this review helps, happy shopping!
