   It smells of licorice! I combine this scent with other complementary Now essential oils, to beautify my home and body butters. These essential oils are the best I have found for quality and price. I only use Now essential oils for my homemade skin products. They add a natural fragrance which provides many additional health benefits. There are so many benefits of using essential oils that each specific oil provides, it would take a book to list them!. Anise is said to be good for muscle aches, to name one. Why use expensive essential oils when this brand provides oils that are just as good, if not better? I highly recommend!

   It is an excellent star anise oil for cooking and baking, it is a must in Italian cuisine. The fragrance and aroma are very strong, exactly what I wanted from this oil. I also use it for aromatherapy. Very happy with this purchase and will buy again soon. Thank you Ecosupplements!

   I’m on a star anise kick right now and use it for everything from Chai to chicken soup. This oil is perfect to add to anything. Although it is indicated for external use only, I read of others using it in food and it is an herb that is used for cooking, so I went with that.

   Just three drops of this in a tea pit of hot water and you have yourself a great tasting and nutritious tea. It is remarkable that three drops produce such a strong licorice smell and taste. It’s a powerful trick that also goes a long way. Please like my review if you found it useful.

   bought this anise scented essential oil based on the reviews and the brand. A strong scent of black licorice, a little goes a long way. I use this lemon oil to freshen up my house in a diffuser. I use 10 drops so this bottle lasts a long time.

    It is a very beautiful essential oil that gives off the herbaceous scent of star anise. It really smells like that because I’m familiar with licorice scent because my mom uses star anise quite often in her savory dishes. I bought this mainly because I like the aroma of star anise, sometimes I just dab it on a tissue and smell it and other times I just diffuse it with spearmint if I’m home .

    I’m not sure how to title my review, but I guess it will work, haha. I love this brand, Now Foods and have bought just about everything they make. From their carrier oils to their essential oils in every fragrance. I am an essential oil junkie and love mixing my own oils and NOW making high quality oils at an affordable price and in reasonable sizes. If you haven’t tried them, now you must. Tip: add a few drops to a pot of boiling water, add slices of lemon and oranges, cinnamon sticks and enjoy Christmas morning.

    I love anything resembling licorice and like to add essential oils to my bath, so I wanted to try this. The price is right compared to other essential oils. A warning if you use it on your skin it needs to be diluted, and in the bath be sure to use it sparingly as I have found that a large amount can irritate the skin.

    was so happy to find that star anise was available in this oil, and that at a great price. I added it to my daily blend for antiviral support. For those who have researched the current cause of interest in pine needles, fennel, and star anise, you might be very interested in using this product.
