About this product

Butterbur is supplied in vegetable capsule form, with 60 capsules per container. Each capsule provides 75 mg of Butterbur Extract (Petasites hybridus) (Root), standardized to a minimum of 12% Sesquiterpenes as Petasines, together with 200 mg of Feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium) (Herb).

The capsule shell is made from cellulose (hypromellose in the reformulated version). The remaining ingredients are cellulose powder, silica, magnesium stearate and stearic acid, both of vegetable source; the reformulated version lists microcrystalline cellulose, maltodextrin, potato starch, stearic acid and silicon dioxide instead. The product is not manufactured with wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, fish, shellfish or tree nut ingredients, though it is produced in a facility that processes other ingredients containing these allergens.
