The strain Lactobacillus reuteri was isolated from tens of thousands of other bacterial strains. It does not require controlled temperature during transport and storage.
Pylopass® production process:
Microbial fermentation is one of the specialities of Novozymes (the manufacturer of Pylopass®). Pylopass® is produced through the fermentation of a patented strain of L. reuteri under controlled conditions in order to achieve peak aggregation capability. After fermentation, the cells are harvested, embedded in a matrix and spray-dried at a low temperature.
