What is Celadrin?
Celadrin is a proprietary blend of esterified fatty acids that have been shown to benefit joint function and flexibility. Being a complex molecule consisting of various fatty acids, it is able to penetrate cell membranes, enhancing membrane permeability and cell-to-cell signaling.
How does it work?
Celadrin is made from a patented, unique blend of cetylated fatty acids developed through a proprietary process of esterifying oils. Fatty acids such as those in Celadrin are thought to work by influencing cell membrane fluidity and signal transduction pathways and aspects of the immune system (enzymes, cytokines, and cells) involved in joint health. Before human trials, the utility of cetyl myristoleate (derived from an esterified monounsaturated fatty acid) in promoting joint comfort was discovered in 1994 in experiments using rats.
Why take Celadrin?
Research has shown that Celadrin can support knee range of motion and joint function. In a ground-breaking double-blind trial that took place at two clinics, 66 participants were randomized to receive either placebo or six capsules of a Celadrin complex (each containing 350 mg Celadrin) daily. Those participants taking the Celadrin complex for 2 months had significantly greater knee flexion (ability to bend the knee) over those taking placebo, in measurements taken at 30 and 68 days into the study.

My friend, who worked at a “Three Dog Bakery” told me about the product since the owners’ of the store had an older dog w/ hip problems so that when my 8 1/2 y/o Schnoodle began having hip problems, I started giving him this. He gets 1/2 capsule in am and pm and because it is tasteless, I can just sprinkle it on his food before he eats. It works like a charm.

It works for certain! I sit at the computer about 4 hours a day and try my best to get out biking everyday or at least every other. When we travel we don’t get to go biking and within about a week I start to notice some minor joint pain in my knees. This stuff gets rid of the pain every time and works within a few hours .. not idea how but it works! I stop taking when the biking picks up.
