Doctor’s Best Acetyl-L-Carnitine is a naturally occurring form of L-Carnitine which is a vitamin-like nutrient synthesized in the body from the amino acids lysine and methionine. How does it work?
Acetyl-L-Carnitine serves as a transport molecule for “active acetate,” which is a source of fuel for metabolic processes that take place in cells. As expected, pleasant to swallow and without a weird aftertaste that is hard to deal with like some others. the packaging is plastic (why???), which could be improved with glass, like other companies are doing these days. At first I was really happy to see that it comes in 60 capsules and not just 30. the ingredients are natural. not at all for training, will separate you from your last meal if you train while eating. zero muscle gain on top of that, of course.

There are many options for finding acetyl L-carnitine, but who actually made the compound? I was using another brand that quietly dropped that they used Biosint. That means it was made in a chemical plant that knows the free market, most likely in China, maybe India. Now, that in itself doesn’t mean it’s bad, but you have no trace. Biosint is a reference manufacturer in this field – and you know where that comes from. Yes, they probably want more – and guess what, I’ll pay a little more for it. Quality over quantity here
