   decided to replace the tea with capsules – the last loose leaf tea I bought was full of bugs. Capsules are a better alternative and these contain fewer additional ingredients.

   I take milk thistle for my liver, as a tonic. This is my first time buying the Swanson brand and I can’t say for sure the outcome. However, they have been around for many years and quite reputable. The price is reasonable, the packaging is nice too. Milk thistle is a must-have substance unless you are following a VERY healthy diet that does not consume alcohol and avoid fast foods.

   Milk thistle is the number one supplement to help the liver improve and recover from damage. Strongly recommended. The Swanson brand is excellent and recognized for its quality.

   had heard for years that milk thistle was most likely helpful for the liver. When my mother died of liver complications…and later in life a close friend’s liver failed…I wanted to be proactive and started using milk thistle. For years I have used Jarrow Milk Thistle but wanted to see if I could get the same or better quality but at a much lower price. I did a lot of research on this topic and found Swanson Milk Thistle. Seemed to be more potent per milligram than Jarrow, but at a much better price, and I like that it’s standardized. I’m not a fan of Swanson’s PACKAGING as it looks cheap BUT we don’t eat the bottle. 🙂 Another negative is that I would prefer a veggie capsule but almost everything Swanson makes, they use gelatin…hence my 4 stars vs what would have been 5. That said, for the overall quality by Price-wise, Swanson is a winner here!

   The quality of these capsules is excellent, they are the perfect size and easy to swallow. Milk Thistle helps detoxify your liver, it is an excellent supplement that has no aftertaste and is easily absorbed. I love the benefits of this product and the packaging is great.

   I’ve compared many products, but always come back to Swanson’s Milk Thistle. Its price and quality ingredients are the best I have found. The main benefit for me is liver detox and as a supplement the pill size is very easy to swallow and tasteless.

   I haven’t done any testing to be able to verify the purity, ingredients, and amount of milk thistle. however of my use during the course. it sure makes me feel good. I hope it detoxifies and keeps my liver healthy with its excellent absorption qualities. the package size is good and convenient.

   lowers cholesterol, I used to take red yeast but find it hot. it’s good because it doesn’t warm my body. it’s good for my liver, the price for the quality is excellent, one capsule a day is enough for me to control my cholesterol level. good product.

    After a few days I feel the vitality.. every spring I do 3-4 weeks of liver detox, lots of green shake, milk thistle and water. Feel so much more energetic
