Analyzes showed recovery of zinc levels very quickly. But, unfortunately, I find it very difficult to take the medicine. When taken on an empty stomach, with meals or immediately after, severe nausea occurs and lasts for about half an hour. The doctor said this will happen when taking any medicine containing zinc 🙁

Solgar is one of my favorite vitamin brands, so no matter what I buy, I’m always more than satisfied. I know I can be sure that I am using good quality vitamins, although some of them may be a bit more expensive. This zinc was good price for the quantity and I have already said that with Solgar the quality is always there. I needed stronger zinc this time around so I went with what I know will give me what I need. I had it for 3 months, because there are 100 tablets of 50mg each, so I was taking one tablet a day. It definitely solved my zinc deficiency problem. The packaging is a standard Solgar glass bottle, which I like more than plastic bottles, but sometimes I still choose other vitamins in a plastic bottle because, as I said, some of the Solgar vitamins are a bit more expensive.

This brand is known for its quality and good ingredients, proper size and dosage. Good for an immunity booster. A little harder to swallow than the other brand which is a capsule, but use it for its immune boosting properties. It has no aftertaste and does not upset the stomach

As there are many zinc supplements out there, this one works great. I have to take it because I have a minor case of pyroluria. Not much else to say other than maybe 50mg at once is a bit too much. So I would recommend splitting the dosage for best results. And since taking it I haven’t been sick, in fact I can’t remember the last time I was sick. A regular zinc diet is essential for a strong immune system.

I have been taking this product for a number of years due to chronic low zinc due to a condition called pyroluria. I have taken another form of zinc but always come back to this one. I am very pleased with the absorbency and quality of this product.
