Trace Minerals Complex by Seeking Health provides 10 essential trace elements in forms that are well-tolerated and easily absorbed, plus silica from horsetail. Iron is excluded, as routine iron supplementation is not required by the majority of adult men and women. Trace minerals, or “microminerals,” are important nutrients that the body needs in small amounts to maintain proper function. Typically taken up from the soil by plants, trace minerals may be lacking in the modern diet due to decreasing nutrient content in the soils used in commercial farming.*
Iodine plays a vital role in maintaining healthy thyroid function. Zinc plays an important role in healthy immune function and absorption of B vitamins. Selenium may help support the body’s free radical defenses and acts as a cofactor in a wide range of physiological processes. Copper is required for proper energy metabolism and numerous other bodily functions. Manganese may help support healthy growth and development, as well as healthy fatty acid synthesis. Chromium may help support healthy energy production and carbohydrate metabolism. Molybdenum may help support healthy sulfur metabolism. Recommended use:
