Vitamin C is a water soluble nutrient well known for its vital role in the immune system. Vitamin C is also necessary for the production of collagen (a structural protein in connective tissue) and is therefore important for skin, bone, and joint health. Vitamin C is needed for amino acid metabolism and the utilization of many nutrients, such as folic acid and iron. It is also a highly effective antioxidant that can protect the body’s cells and molecules from damage by free radicals and reactive oxygen molecules generated during normal metabolism and exposure to environmental stressors. This product supplies Calcium Ascorbate, a buffered form of Vitamin C that is bioavailable and non-acidic; it is enhanced with Bioflavonoids, which work synergistically to support Vitamin C utilization.

love that there are no other ingredients other than vitamin C from natural sources like acerola, rosehip and citrus. I was looking for something other than ascorbic acid. It dissolves easily in any liquid. It doesn’t taste good, but it’s not horrible either. It’s recommended on the product to mix it with orange juice to mask the taste, but honestly I just mix it in water and it’s fine.

The cost per serving is quite low considering there are 200 servings in one container. And it’s not just vitamin C but also citrus bioflavonoids, rosehip and acerola! I think this is a superior product for the price. The taste isn’t that bad so I just put 1/4 teaspoon straight into my mouth. I was thinking of putting in gelatin capsules, but because of the neutral taste, I decided to work around that. So, in short, I think you can take it straight. Like if my review helped you
