Condition: Dry, flaky skin on the body, especially on the “rougher” areas; the knees, elbows and feet.
Solution: Shea Butter Lotion is formulated with 10% shea butter to provide a rich, nourishing coat of moisture to the skin. Phospholipids in sunflower lecithin help reduce moisture loss and intensify shea butter’s natural moisturizing action.

Shea Butter – 100% Natural – 207 ml.
Ingredients:
Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter (tree nut).
Recommended use:
Gently apply as desired, paying close attention to dry or rough areas; reapply as needed.
Warnings:
This product is naturally solid and color/texture will vary depending on temperature. This product will melt when warmed above body temperature and become solid again when cool. This is natural and may affect the appearance, but will not harm the quality of the product. This warming and cooling may produce fat crystals that affect the color/texture, making it appear grainy or uneven. If solid, shea butter can be softened by placing in a pan of hot water (e.g. 100° or warmer) for 30 minutes or by microwaving until soft.
Caution for Microwaving: This jar contains a foil seal. Do not place this jar directly in microwave. Before microwaving, scoop out desired amount and place in a microwave-safe container. Allow time to cool before applying.

Yes, it will arrive cream colored and grainy. No, it does not mean that it is a spoiled, poor quality or defective product. If you want to use it as is, rub some in between your hands to soften it before applying. This is an oil, so it will go up

Since shea butter is the main ingredient in so many moisturizers and because I really wanted something ultra-moisturizing, I thought I would try pure shea butter. It is a little greasy at first, but absorbs pretty well and seems more effective than hand cream. It’s solid but easily melts when you rub it in.
