I love magnesium in the glycinate form. It really helps calm you down before bedtime. I use 200mg of magnesium malate in the morning to relax my muscles and 200mg of glycinate with 1000mg of b12 and all i can say i sleep like a baby which i didn’t before as i I struggled with insomnia. My question is why this product has not been in stock for so long???

My doctor recommended this supplement for its benefits to my sleep, muscle health, and digestion. I’ve been taking magnesium glycinate for at least 3 years now, and I find it helps me with regularity as well. I take one or two capsules at night about an hour before bed (with a glass of water or milk). I have no side effects or bad taste after taking the capsule.

Very reliable, good product, which helps with sleep. Higher doses may cause some increase in bowel relaxation, windiness, but these effects are not unpleasant as such. Helps relieve cramps, especially if taken with calcium (they compete with each other otherwise). Easy to handle packaging. Our family always has a supply on hand.

Based on extensive research, magnesium glycinate is said to be one of the best types of magnesium to take regarding absorbability, and NO gastrointestinal issues like the oxide type in particular , and sometimes even magnesium citrate can cause problems. . Long story short…some of these glycinate pills can be huge from OTHER brands I’ve tried, but the NOW ones, at least for me, are VERY easy to swallow and the smallest pills I’ve seen on this type of magnesium. Just know that I think like all other magnesium glycinates, TWO tablets give you 200mg and not just one. Personally, I take a magnesium citrate (from Solgar) in the morning…one 200mg pill…then at night I take one of these now glycinized magnesium…100mg…gives me 300mg per day, which should be more than enough magnesium because you also get it from food. Now vitamins are almost always one of the cheapest vitamins on the market…as far as price, quality, pill SIZE, I think this is excellent magnesium.
