It is also good for weight loss when combined with green coffee which I take 12 hour before breakfast. I hope the two will work in synergy in the long term to help me lose weight. This was suggested by my gynecologist to ward off HPV although my HPV was gone without it. So I take it now for energy since coffee makes me nervous. It’s a great alternative for that morning cup of coffee. I took it at night but it disturbs my ability to sleep so if you have trouble sleeping at night I suggest you take it in the morning or no later than noon. Otherwise, I’ve been quite sedentary due to weather and working from home, and since taking this I find that my metabolism has improved despite my lack of exercise. I plan to get back to exercising soon, so it will be interesting to see how it helps there.

bought these to try and boost energy. I used to drink at least two cups of coffee a day to stay awake. I get a four hour energy boost and feel like my metabolism has gone up without any coffee side effects like insomnia, nervousness and restlessness, upset stomach, nausea and vomiting, increased heart and breathing rate and other side effects. I would recommend you take it with food, at least to start with, as it made my stomach hurt when I took it without.

bought this because it was recommended by The Four Day Diet – to increase metabolism and aid weight loss. The proper dosage of green tea extract for fat burning is 300mg per day or at least three servings of green tea per day. Each capsule provides 400mg – so it’s a good dose. I had one with breakfast and another with lunch. You should be careful not to take green tea extract in too high a dose for too long as it can damage the liver. So when I finished the bottle I quit for a few weeks. I was doing other things: drinking lots of water, eating healthy, and exercising. But I lost 10 hard-to-move pounds. I wish I had known about green tea extract sooner!

Green tea contains polyphenols and catechins which have a strong antioxidant effect. Drinking too much green tea would prevent me from falling asleep. So I take this instead.
