Very strong smell. Like a more chemical and less sweet lemongrass. This can be off-putting to someone new to this scent. I put about 5 drops on a cotton ball and place it near open windows to keep bugs out. Cheap and good quality, as always, I love NOW essential oils.

Super natural oil with super effective essential oil with the benefit of quickly healing my damaged skin from a fungal infection. I ordered the oil because my skiing hasn’t improved for over a month. when i started using it, my skin immediately improved with a soothing effect. The smell is a little strong but I quickly got used to it. At night I put a few drops in my palms and inhale it for a few seconds as it helps me sleep well. The quality is absolutely 100% natural, the bottle size is perfect. I feel good to have this natural remedy that I can put in my bag and travel with confidence because I know it will help protect me from insects mosquitoes and even stomach indigestion because I can also use it internally.

I love how I can find Now Lemongrass here. He was really powerful. I add it to a spray bottle with water and shake it then spray it on the screen doors so the mosquitoes don’t come near. It also deters flies and other insects. You can also add a little lavender. But you need to reapply once every few weeks. Highly recommend.

Other than saying the above, I don’t really know what else to say, because I actually like to stop commenting on anything more right after the “received in good condition”, but the system keep telling me say I have to include more details, and here we are.

After reading about the benefits of lemongrass and how it often repels bugs, I bought it to put in my deodorant spray so I could not only smell the fresh lemon but also keep the bugs away during those warm months. It arrived just in time and worked well I guess as for several days I had no bug marks after a full day out.

As with all of the other NOW Foods essential oils I have tried, this oil is extremely potent and should only be used sparingly. It smells very similar to lemongrass, and the scent fills the air as soon as you open the bottle. On its own, it may smell a little too much like insect repellent to some, but it pairs well with other essential oils. I use it either in an aromatherapy diffuser or mixed with a carrier oil such as NOW Solutions Sweet Almond Oil for direct application to skin, scalp, and hair. A 1oz (30ml) bottle lasts a very long time, even when used daily.

The scent reminds me of citronella but it is MUCH stronger. The main reason I bought it was to get mosquitoes off my type O blood (it’s their favorite, so you know…) in the most natural way and the most human. 🙂 I don’t put it on my skin, I use a small brown glass jar (not plastic, it’s not suitable for oils) with a little water in it (hot or lukewarm), and a drop or two lemongrass essential oil, a drop of lavender oil and sometimes a scent of jasmine. I put it near me when I work (on my desk) near the bed at night (but not too close, the smell is strong). That’s how I use it, but I’m by no means a professional. It’s a good price for a large bottle (30ml), and “Now Foods” still has excellent, well-sealed packaging, for their essential oils. If my review helped you, don’t hesitate to like 🙂

I love the lemongrass scent of this essential oil. The composition is excellent because it is not too greasy when applied and it contains natural ingredients. This is very soothing on the skin and feels like silk when applied. I use it at night, especially when I stay in the back yard.

Like her smell. I use it for pest control. I add it to dried rose and chrysanthemum buds, rice, cotton balls to make sachets to deter pests. I hang them on the windows and put them in the kitchen. Just 20 drops plus other essential oils like Lemongrass and Lemon Eucalyptus (also from this brand) would work. The scent lasts for about a week, then it’s time to fill it up again.
