   I’ve been taking them for about 4 months now and have come to the conclusion (after ruling out many other factors) that they do their job too well. I’ve sought medical advice on digestive enzymes from many credible sources, and many people have consistently said that having “too much” is never really a bad thing – that is, until what I feel the negative side effects of it. The thing about this particular blend is that it has a very broad spectrum and contains quite a bit of everything – both in variety and quantity. This means that if you have a poor diet or have had digestive issues in the past, these will work wonders when you first take it. Fast forward a few months and now this is the main cause of my excess gas in the gut and I had to get rid of it.

   This product is a supplement intended to improve health, immunity, quality of life, well-being and mood. I bought it out of curiosity after reading about it. It has fulfilled some essential needs that I had until now: a boost of energy and an elimination of fatigue due to long flights and stress. NOW FOODS has become our favorite family brand! Highly recommended.

   took these awesome broad-spectrum digestive enzymes as part of an overall plan to try and cure some serious gastrointestinal issues I have including dysbiosis, maldigestion, and malabsorption. I started with Doctor’s Best enzymes but switched to these because they have one of the broadest spectrum enzyme profiles with more potent amounts of each enzyme (the numbers and letters after each enzyme on the label). I think that in my particular case, according to my holistic doctor, I am dealing with a general disorder that has evolved into intestinal hyperpermeability, or “leaky gut” syndrome. This occurs when enterocytes lose the strength of the “tight junctions” that normally keep intestinal contents, food, bacteria, and immune complexes out of systemic circulation, resulting in overwhelming systemic inflammation and often food hypersensitivities that must be processed. . In my case it also led to an autoimmune disease by causing my immune system to start attacking my own tissues which shows you how bad it can be and that’s how my doctor told me diagnosed with “leaky gut”.

   Due to a very bad digestive system, I started taking these capsules several years ago. They contain all the ingredients I expect from a good quality digestive enzyme supplement. I take between one and two per main meal, especially if the meal contains protein and/or fiber. Helps my body break down vegetables and fruits that I have a big problem with.

   This is a truly fantastic product! I have had stomach and digestion issues and taking one capsule with meals has been a huge help. Previously, my stomach would rumble after a meal, and sometimes that would go on for hours with burping and wind passing a problem as well. All I need is one of these capsules taken with my meal and it really helps. If you compare this product with other products in the market, it is really loaded with various enzymes to digest different types of food. I have used NOW Foods Super Enzymes before which is good but better. I always take one capsule with my evening meal, never with my very light breakfast. If my lunch is a big portion or something heavy or rich, I’ll have one. But if I have a light lunch like a small salad, I won’t mind because my stomach can usually handle it on its own.

   Has the highest dosage of many others. As an elderly person, my intestines need all the help they can get. I was also able to stop taking omeprazole for the acid reflex when I added acid HCL before each meal, which speeds up digestion if stomach acid is at PH. Take away with Ultimate Digest. good combo

   One of the most complete supplements in its category. This product helps me a lot to keep my digestion healthy, mainly because my daily life is quite hectic and I need to eat fast to be able to manage daily tasks. The great variety and the high concentration of digestive enzymes in this product made the difference when I chose it, because its composition is perfect for those who have a varied diet like mine.

   The quality is top notch with properly dosed bio-available ingredients and third-party testing. I feel great using it before meals to help me break down food better and improve digestion while reducing intestinal bloating or other intestinal issues. I combine it with apple cider vinegar and ginger which I take with hot water before the meal.

    I find this Now Digest Ultimate brand is what I need. I have tried other brands but this complex works well for me. I use it with Doctors Best Betaine HCL with pepsin and gentian bitters and a few slippery elms daily and my long standing digestive issues are gone. Bloating and flatulence are a thing of the past. I’m glad I found Digest Ultimate.
