Very good Bromelain at 2400 gdu per cap. Helps digest meats/proteins faster and easier with little to no bloating. I take 1 capsule for a smaller meal like a salami sandwich or 2 capsules for larger, proper protein meals. Bromelain is a proteolytic enzyme derived from the stem and fruit of the pineapple. The tingling sensation you get on your tongue when you consume pineapple is due to bromelain. It is known to be used in tenderizing meat. The protein digesting properties are said to be systemic and may help with inflammatory conditions and cardiovascular/joint health, so if you are looking for these benefits, take a few capsules on an empty stomach. Item arrived complete and in good condition. Delivery within 3 days! So far the product has no adverse effects. I hope it is indeed effective on my bromelain needs. Update after 1 month: Somehow I noticed an improvement in joint comfort. The taste is as usual as taking other supplements. Capsule size is also normal. Overall, I am satisfied with this product

Bromelain is quite fascinating. As written in the description, it can help gastrointestinal problems as well as muscles and joints. Apparently in some studies when taken with antibiotics it has shown an increase in the amount of antibiotics in the blood as well as other possibly negative effects so I recommend reading about that before to start taking it. I take it without food for its anti-inflammatory properties. I work as a fitness instructor and I was feeling pain in my elbow. Although I was never diagnosed with the pain, I suspect it could be bursitis. While I was taking bromelain it went away and didn’t come back so I make sure to keep it in stock.

This product is of excellent quality and the capsules are easy to swallow. Some research has suggested that bromelain, which is an extract from pineapple, may help clear up floaters in the eye. After taking it for two weeks, four capsules a day, I’m starting to notice the discoloration of a nasty floater I had in my right eye. It is too early to tell if this is a temporary or lasting effect.

take a lot of supplements so sometimes it’s hard to notice what works, but after taking them I see a gradual improvement in my joints, especially with elbow tendinosis that I’ve had for a while. It’s also good for eye floaters! (I take a higher dose than recommended, 5 capsules a day on an empty stomach.)
