mykind naturals Vegan D3 natural Spray is a whole food vitamin D3 formula that’s both Certified USDA natural and Non-GMO Project Verified in a mouth-watering vanilla spray. As the only vitamin D3 registered with both the Vegan Society and Vegetarian Society, mykind naturals Vegan D3 offers a potent and active form of vitamin D (cholecalciferol) for the body—because that is what the body naturally produces after sun exposure. While many vegetarian vitamin D supplements are vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol), this one is vitamin D3. This great vitamin D supplement is for everyone, but vegans and vegetarians are particularly at high risk for coming up short on vitamin D, since some of the best sources of vitamin D—other than sunlight—come from animal products, which are typically not on the menu for most vegetarians and certainly not for vegans. Since vitamin D3 is a fat-soluble vitamin, Vegan D3 also contains natural plant omegas—from natural pumpkin seed oil and natural cranberry seed oil.

This liquid vitamin D supplement version is easy to take and contains ingredients with no added filters or additives. The size is perfect, especially for travel, since using the tincture doesn’t require much in one dose. Tastes great in flavor and is mild, not overpowering or sweet. Affordable. Vegan. Ok – so you have to get used to the taste – it’s not chocolate ice cream 🙂 But over a year ago my VIt D level had dropped to around 10 – and my doctor doubted I could recover it with only supplements. My holistic practitioner recommended it and I took a few sprays every day. Months later, I had blood work done and my numbers were within a safe range. Always have this in the house.

I was diagnosed with mild vitamin D deficiency and started using it a few years ago. I love that it’s a spray and it’s easy to adjust the dosage and it doesn’t involve a big pill that you have to swallow with a ton of water. It’s oil-based (as it should be to be absorbed) so I recommend storing it in the fridge.

LOVE IT. I can feel my mood changing between before taking my dose in the morning and after. I mix it into my morning green drink and don’t even have to taste it. It’s not bad, but it’s kind of a weird vanilla flavor and it’s quite greasy in my mouth. That’s a great price for MANY doses. 10/10!
