ordered and took Cistanche. It didn’t seem to do anything to me at all, and I had taken both forms. I also did the typical dose modification, as well as checked the purity of the source, etc. I am posting this simply because Ecosupplements strikes me as an echo chamber of positive anecdotal reports. I hope a draw is, at the very least, worthy of consideration. Although I am fully aware of the studies on this substance that claim such benefits, I received absolutely none of the reported benefits. The Ingredients, Cistanche, an important Chinese herbal medicine, is a plant found in deserts and known for its sterone-boosting properties, among other benefits like reducing inflammation and protecting brain function. I can’t say if it works for sure, but scientifically there’s been a lot of research into supporting senescence cells and it looks really positive, so I’m hoping for the best. The pill size is easy to swallow.

It’s not the most powerful cistanche you’ll find. Unfortunately, this is the only one we have here at Ecosupplements. Generally, powdered extracts, where you can consume larger amounts, are the ones with the best results reported by users. Yet the provenance and quality vary greatly from product to product, to the point that some seem like placebos and others have a significant positive impact on your life.

Ethanolic extract of Cistanche tubulosa has significant life-extending effects. That was enough to convince me to try it. Only time will tell if it works well, so it cannot be confirmed at this time. Small bottle and expensive but hard to get on the market because few companies produce it. You can buy the dried plant itself from China on ebay, but then you have to know how to make an extract. Has been used in China for many, many years in TCM, so maybe there could be some evidence of whether or not it works in terms of impact on longevity.

bought Horny Goat Weed and Cistanche to test. Taking Cistanche on weekends and Horny Goat Week on weekdays is sure to change my mental state, heightening my senses, like a sweet coffee. Slight increase in perception. Everyone would be affected differently, some other reviewers say they didn’t notice any difference, you would need to take it to know you But I reacted positively, and it’s fine for me to take the days I take a coffee break.
