As an antioxidant, vitamin C scavenges free radicals in the body and protects tissues from oxidative stress.1-8 Vitamin C also promotes the absorption of iron, while inhibiting its oxidation. This is a perfect buffered vitamin C option for daily use. The price is reasonable and it is easy to take. The taste is mild (especially compared to an ascorbic acid product I was using previously) and it mixes well in water.

This is an effective way to get Vitamin C, but it tastes horrible! I mix it with apple juice to help, but it still tastes horrible. I’ve even tried plain water and grape juice. It also does not mix well in food, like oatmeal. I would rather take it in pill form.
