How does it work?

have an MTHFR gene mutation so I need methylated folate to really absorb folate and B vitamins compared to typical folic acid. This product has changed my life. I have so much more energy and seem to be able to absorb nutrients from other vitamins since I started taking them. I really recommend!

Got it for the high quality ingredient. It contains quadrifoliate, which (along with more natural forms of folate like methylfolate) may be more easily processed by some people than folic acid. Easy to take one pill a day, good dose for trying to conceive. Apparently also helps the nervous system. No taste.

added Doctor’s Best folic acid to the supplements I take. I added it because I take digestive enzymes and it is the B vitamin that can be depleted somewhat by taking these enzymes. It is easy to swallow and take. I take it between meals when I’m not taking the enzyme. It is an important B vitamin. The capsule size is very small and therefore very easy to swallow. It is a quality product at a reasonable price.

Excellent value for money for Quatrefolic. Don’t get carried away by lower folic acid which can build up in your system and become toxic. Quatrefolic is what the body needs and does not become toxic. Good for reducing homocysteine levels and if you are planning to become pregnant

Folate 400 is a daily supplement my husband and I take for heart health. Folate also helps regulate our blood pressure. Doctor’s Best vegetarian capsules have two advantages over most other brands: 1. it is a methyl form so it is very available for the body to metabolize and 2. there are no other fillers and unnecessary folate stuff.

take folate for specific health issues such as brain infarction caused by accident (not stroke) and fatigue. I certainly noticed a significant improvement in these conditions when taking my first bottle. The quality is quite good and effective. The ingredients are great for me. am very happy with this brand of Folate. Easy to digest and without additives. It’s hard to find a brand that doesn’t contain additives and Doctor’s Best is awesome! Also, I originally ordered folic acid, then read that in terms of supplying the body with available nutrients, dietary folate – the form found in whole foods – is preferable to folic acid synthetic found in supplements and processed foods. It is both more readily available to the body and does not present the same potential risks of accumulation. So according to all the articles I found on the web, you should be taking folate, not folic acid. It’s very confusing but I feel so much better taking folate and not folic acid

This is my first time trying a Doctor’s Best product. I ordered it with the Doctor’s Best B12. The prices of both made me give DB a try. I’m glad I did. I take my B12 and folate together because they act synergistically in red blood cell performance and iron transport and function in the body. The two together also help your nervous system and mood by producing SAMe. It has added vitamin C and no nasty fillers in the product. Totally recommend to try. Great quality for the price.
