How does it work?
Vitamin B12 is the most chemically complex of all the vitamins. Methylcobalamin is the most active form of vitamin B12. Methylcobalamin is a large molecule with an intricate cage-like structure that encloses a single cobalt atom. Methylcobalamin is used in specific biochemical functions.

Vitamin B12 plays an important role in the production of red blood cells and other blood cells, in the proper functioning of the nervous system and in the construction of DNA. The body does not produce the vitamin itself, it can be obtained mainly from animal feed. A vitamin deficiency can lead to anemia, which is when red blood cells are not produced efficiently, leading to a lack of oxygen and energy in the cells of the body. On top of all this, it became clear that vitamin deficiency was associated with the risk of developing dementia in old age. It’s more effective to take a supplement in lozenge form, but I’m less into it so buy the ones that are taken like any regular pill.
