Carlson Immune Omega combines the immune boosting benefits of vitamin D3 and omega-3s. A single teaspoon provides 2,000 IU (50 mcg) of vitamin D3 as cholecalciferol, the form of vitamin D our body makes naturally from the sun, and 1,100 mg of omega-3s, including EPA and DHA.
To ensure maximum freshness, Immune Omega is closely managed from sea to store. We source the highest quality, deep, cold water fish using traditional, sustainable methods. Our fish are then transported to a highly-regulated Norwegian facility for processing and purification. The fish oil is bottled with a touch of vitamin E and is given a nitrogen flush to remove oxygen and to help prevent oxidation. Like all Carlson omega-3s, freshness, potency, and purity are guaranteed.

When I was a child in England, a teaspoon of cod liver oil was distributed every morning to ward off colds and flu. I hated! The taste stayed with me all day. This product is wonderful. The lemon flavor neutralizes any fishy taste and I swear I feel healthier. As a bonus, I find that my skin looks more supple too.

Pretty decent taste – you can taste lemon essence. Good supplement if you are lacking in vitamin D, vitamin A and omega 3 fish oil. However, this macronutrient can build up in the liver. I only take half a teaspoon about once or twice a week, as I eat fish about once a week. Best mixed with juice or food to lessen the fishy taste. Avoid taking huge amounts as it is possible to overdose on fat-based supplements in general.
