got B-1 for my parents (60+ and 70+) for their cognitive health. One of the first effects we noticed was a better quality of sleep. My dad has trouble walking, so hopefully B-1 can improve him at least a little. They’ve only been taking it for 2 weeks, so it’s too early to tell.

NOW B1 is one of those vitamins you can’t live without because once you start taking it, you’ll feel the difference in your memory and concentration. Even taking a lower dose like 100mg per day works great! It is perfect for long time use.

I had been in a mood swing for a few months and couldn’t understand what was happening to me. After a medical visit, I discovered that I was deficient in vitamin B1 and immediately started taking supplements. I noticed that the symptoms of stress and anxiety were gone, and now I am healthy again. Excellent.

have hypothyroidism / Hashimotos. I find it hard to be tired all day. My free t3 (active hormone) is still low. After reading and finding out that I should take 600mg to 1500mg a day because people with hashimotos are more likely to have issues with low B1 levels, this was a game changer for me. I have increased my b1 to 3 pills a day (300mg), so far with the B complex. I have been able to reduce my naps. It was amazing. I have also recently started taking the “now” brand thyroid energy which also seems to be helping. (this one contains zinc, which gives me a little stomach ache if I take it on an empty stomach – zinc always makes my stomach hurt). I actually just ordered 2 more bottles of this b1. This brand seems to work well.

read that Vit B1 would reduce nightmares. It’s amazing!! I might have dreams that used to upset me, but now I don’t have nightmares of terror. I’m writing this in case anyone else needs to know if this works. For me it does! Excellent product and quality!

It’s good value and does its job. If I feel a bit exhausted after too many coffees, which chews your B1, this is a perfect remedy. If I have too many dreams/nightmares giving me restless sleep, that’s fine for that too, in my experience. This tablet is best swallowed – do not chew it as it will taste bad. The quality seems fine to me. 100mg is a convenient size.
