Vitamin B-6 (pyridoxine) acts primarily as an enzyme catalyst in many body processes including energy metabolism and neurotransmitter function. Before it can be used for this purpose it must be converted into its coenzyme form (P-5-P) by the liver. P-5-P eliminates this step by providing B-6 in its converted form, allowing for greater bioavailability.

Good product! This is the shape of B6 you want. Most B complex vitamins have the HCl hydrochloride form of B6, but for some people (myself included) this is not the correct form for the body to use. I just started two weeks ago and my problems are disappearing. I had taken a B-complex from a very reputable company for years, but this is the product that has really helped me now!

this product is a lifesaver! I use it during my 1st trimester of my pregnancy. I take this for its proposed effect on collagen formation, anti-inflammatory potential, and neurotransmitter biosynthesis. Since this is the bioavailable version of B6, I hope it will have a greater impact than the B6 supplement I was taking before. I love that the ingredient list is completely vegan as well. It seems like a quality product for a reasonable price. The pill itself is a medium to large capsule that I have no problem swallowing.
