My husband and I consume K2 to offset D3 consumption, because D3 consumption above 5000iu must be balanced with K2 100mcg, because if the D3 consumption is 5000 and more without K2, there will be a blockage of the blood supply. we consume 10,000 d3 and 200 mg of MK7 every day. This is my first order and they packaged it very well. I consumed this product with vitamin D3, zinc and omega 3. I feel my body is doing so much better, my lupus is amazingly controlled in just 2-3 months. I had a severe flare in June 2021 and all lab results in September are good. If supplementing with Vitamin D/D3, take Vitamin K2, Magnesium and Zinc as these are important cofactors for Vitamin D synthesis and absorption. Vitamin K2 is superior to K1 and this What’s even better about this brand is that it uses MK-7/menaquinone. What I like about using a separate K2 versus taking a combo of “D3 and K2” is that this K2 dosage is the reco daily dosage at 100 mcg versus a combo where K2 is usually at a lower dose (usually just 40 mcg) D3 with vitamin K2 helps ensure that the calcium carried by vitamin D is absorbed by your bones where it’s needed, rather than draining away build up in deposits in your arteries. I love this product and have not encountered any negative side effects while taking it. I usually alternate between this brand and another as I find both helpful in providing the optimal dosage of K2. I would definitely recommend this product and this brand. Couldn’t find a better vitamin K2 other than this. it provides you with 100 micrograms of vitamin K2, approximately 83% of your daily needs. Just make sure, if you are a healthy person, that you don’t take more than one capsule per day. our gut bacteria make vitamin k for us when they digest food in our intestines. vitamin k is also fat soluble, our body stores it to be used later in case of shortage. of course, always be sure to consult your health care provider first.
