This is the best quality lysine I can find. I like that it’s 1000mg and I take it twice a day after meals with vitamin c. Some might find its huge size hard to swallow, but I would prefer this to the smaller 500mg tablets because I want to maximize the benefits of lysine in just one capsule.

I’ve already written the review on the 500mg one, so I’ll leave it below: L-lysine is an extremely important essential amino acid found in human bodies when it comes to fighting viruses as well as neural health. The size is larger and comes with a good bit, so it’s a good amount for the price you pay. The pills are a bit bigger. As I’ve noticed, people take L-Lysine primarily for the purpose of building muscle. But in my case, this supplement became a panacea to fight herpes virus 1st type. Whenever my immune system was weak, I used to get terrible cold blisters on my face. I heard that L-Lysine works against it. And that’s the case ! I was taking 1 pill outside of food and eliminated arginine from my diet. First of all, it helps fight existing herpes (it no longer appears). Second, it works for a long term result. Of the minuses I must mention a huge size of the tablets.
