I discovered Gaba on a Dr’s visit. Started out with Phrama Gaba and it works well but a bit pricey. Used Ecosupplements brand for quite awhile. Tried the NOW 500mg with B6 and it seems to work a bit better. There’s nothing like Gaba, it doesn’t interfere with the meds I take. Helps me go to sleep, relaxes me when I need it. Its really quite remarkable. Someone in a review said it kept them awake. If you take too much for your system it will do that I’ve noticed. It’s also used by body builders but the dosage is more than I would want to take. For me the best intake is 500 to 1000 mg to go to sleep.

I bought this product to replace a chewable GABA I had before. Didn’t notice that it contains B-6. Took it before bed and it gave me insomnia. Not good for trying to sleep!

Suffering from insomnia all life here. I use GABA as part of my sleep cocktail. Take 2 capsules (1 gram total) a few hours before bed on an empty stomach, along with magnesium, L theanine, glycine, melatonin 10 mg TR, and possibly add L tryptophan to the future when I try to stop antidepressants. This concoction works for me, which is amazing because normally the only thing that helps with sleep are benzos, and obviously I can’t take them every night. Works for me, hope it works for you!
