bought these capsules to relieve the symptoms of menopause. I have no way of knowing if this is what helped me, since I also added other supplements at the same time, but I feel better since adding the ashwaghanda, chasteberry vitex and evening primrose oil in my diet. But recently I discovered an unexpected benefit to these capsules. I suffered from a horrible anal fissure which was not healing after 9 weeks of excruciating pain. One day out of desperation (pain level was 9-10 that day) I opened one of those evening primrose oil capsules and applied a drop of the oil to the exterior of the crack. It was soothing, so I continued to apply two or three times a day. My pain level went down almost instantly. A week later, the crack was healed!
