don’t want to give the chlorella all the credit, but I do want to say it has helped improve my skin tone. Everyone has an odor and it’s completely normal but I noticed that I didn’t smell as much as I used to. Chlorella is great for removing heavy metals, as well as keeping your immune system strong, a good source of B 12 which boosts your brain power, boosts your energy and much more. It says to take 6 tables a day, I normally take two in the morning. , two in the afternoon and two at night. Good product, good brand

My second half is a whole-food supplement advocate and chlorella is one of them. His main reason for taking this green superfood is for heavy metal chelation (detoxification) and a natural plant source of B12. I have read studies supporting this claim. There is another brand you can check out: Yaeyama Chlorella from Source Naturals. Yaeyama is not natural but it is one of the best brands that I recommend. Another important factor: opt for chlorella with broken cell walls for better absorption. The quality is excellent. Good packaging. As for the taste, well, it’s a seaweed taste of course. Chew it if you can take it, otherwise buy it in capsule form.

I started taking chlorella for detox and nutrient density (eg iron). Chlorella is supposed to help remove heavy metals through chelation, so I tend to cycle it with spirulina. Overall, my breathing and cardiovascular system have felt great recently on my runs and bike sessions. I’m not a big fan of chlorella which is in powder form, so I much prefer tablets to avoid the taste. As always, the quality of NOW products is exceptional and the price/size ratio is excellent! Although there is less research available on chlorella compared to spirulina, I see great properties in this compound!
