Recommended use:
Take 1/2 level teaspoon daily, preferably with a meal. For best results, blend into pulpy type juices such as tomato or orange juice.

Best supplement ever for tight muscles, sore muscles, knots in muscles, weak bones. When I feel pain in the hips or a tight back muscle, I take 1/2 t daily. mixed with OJ. (Also do stretching exercises for your back and use a heating pad/ibprofen as needed). It is also a very good supplement for people suffering from osteoporosis. (I actually stopped taking my Osteo.med due to severe back pain! One of the side effects!) The Mayo Clinic site has a good article on this and also CITRATE powder calcium which contains less calcium but absorbs more easily in a stomach that has problems such as absorption problems caused by acid reflux medications. ** With calcium carbonate I also mix 1/2 t. Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C Powder) to aid in the absorption of this stronger calcium powder.

My son couldn’t tolerate any dairy products but he needed calcium somehow. So we tried this product and had no reaction. If you’re taking calcium supplements, we’ve found that you also need to take vitamins D3 and K2. Vitamin D3 ensures the absorption of calcium. Vitamin K2 (especially in the MK-7 form, the most bioavailable form) directs it to areas of your body such as your bones, so it can be put to good use. Without K2, absorbed calcium can deposit in the arteries, where it can lead to calcification or other problems. We used all 3 supplements at the same time as they all complement each other. We know that to be true. We used calcium and D3 supplements for several months. Then we noticed the ‘blue toes’ growing and thought it must be some form of calcification. We did some research and found it was lacking in vitamin K, so we tried supplementing K2 and the “blue toes” started to go away over time. So please supplement the calcium with D3 and K2!

Very economical. Dissolves easily. Doesn’t taste bad. You only use a very small amount. I like to take it with my vitamin D supplement to improve absorption. Also avoid taking it with other supplements like iron. Take it with food, but like most other supplements, no caffeine. Great way to fill up on calcium, especially when you’re not drinking milk.

quality so far so good. you have been taking it for more than a month. the only thing that needs improvement is to include a measuring spoon long enough to reach the end of the bottle. Another thing I notice about this is that the calcium powder might stick on the cup and spoon even after rinsing them.
