I had always been warned about taking vitamin “A”. After intense research, I found that “beta-carotene” was a safe way to get your vitamin A! You will not turn orange. Good for my eyes. I can still read the fine print. The body converts beta-carotene into as much vitamin A as it needs. Thus, taking beta-carotene is safer than large amounts of vitamin A which could be toxic. We need vitamin A for good vision, a good immune system and good skin.

This transformation occurs when there is a vitamin A deficiency. Beta-carotene increases resistance to stress and emotional overload, protects cells from premature aging, affects skin recovery processes, participates in the production of immunoglobulins, improves eyesight. It is not only a very good antioxidant, but it is very effective in stopping/reducing the harmful effects of the sun on the skin, especially if one has fair skin. Just one a day stops most of the burning after taking the product for a week and then continues through the summer.
