If you are very sick, you should take more than 4 grams (4000 mg) of Antioxidant C spread throughout the day to achieve effective potency. Combined with quercetin, the magic ingredient that helps activate zinc, helps move within the cell. This will give you the C and quercetin together as they should be distributed throughout the day. I find this supplement very useful for painful varicose veins, so it is effective. I can feel the difference. It doesn’t have a significant taste, but it’s a squeezed pill and a bit bigger, so it might not be good if you have trouble with that.
