Microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate (veg.), silicon dioxide, beef gelatin capsule.
Recommended use:
Adults take one capsule daily, at mealtime.
Warnings:
Keep bottle tightly closed. Store away from heat and moisture.
Vitamin K can antagonize the effect of anticoagulants, including Warfarin. Do not take this product if you are taking Warfarin without first consulting with your physician. Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

They are small and easy to swallow, the capsules have no noticeable taste. Studies have shown that the benefits of K2 MK-4 only really appear at 5mg and above, and it is the only supplement on the market that offers this amount. Don’t waste your money on MK-4 variants under 5mg.

Due to its longer half-life, vitamin K2 in the form of menaquinone-7 (MK7) is more popular, but only menatetrenone (vit. K2 MK4) can cross the blood-brain barrier, a vit advantage. K2 MK7 does not have. A combination of both types of vitamin K2 is probably best, but don’t overlook MK4. At 5 mg, this dosage is perfect, especially when taken with high-dose vitamin D. I trust Carlson Labs for the quality of its products.

So many times it’s difficult to buy a supplement with just the vitamin you need, especially for things like bone health. K2 is associated with bone health but many times they come together with calcium, trace minerals like D3, K1, Magnesium…. some have even other minerals I have hardly even heard of. If your physician suggests K2 and you want only K2, this will do the trick!

recently added it to my supplements to get vitamin K2 in the “mk4” form and the dosage/value is good. I already take the “mk7” form (now from the Mega-D3K2 brand) which is great. I heard the mk7 form is the most critical to get, so always grab that one. This one I consider optional, but I want to add it periodically.

5g is good but a higher dosage would be better. I remember there was a higher dosage with this brand in the past, but I can’t find it now. I would suggest this company to provide higher dosage pills and drop the fillers too!

I’m one of those rare people who can’t stand mixing the mk7 with the mk4. So finding a product that only has the MK4 was great! I can take it without any problem. Unfortunately it is very expensive. I wish there were coupons or something to help manage the price of this.

quality level is very good. there is a myth that mk7 is better than mk4. the truth is the reverse, the active form of vitamin k2 is mk4 and the vitamin stored in the body is also mk4. mk7 is promoted by its longer half life but in the end I still think choosing the active form in the body is a better choice.
